As a long-time Underlight player, I was thrilled when the cloak and dagger character sidled up to me and asked if I was interested in a new project. Like most players, I'd been hearing vague rumors of a new, improved UL2, so I was very interested to be recruited and to learn about the definitely new and improved game we've all been working on.

For the past year, Steven and I have been the Storyline Team.  It's been a great experience to work out stories and background for the new game.  Like Gilean and Samarina, we've been a good team - writing our own stuff, then passing it back and forth for editing and commentary. 

In real life, I work in libraries, mostly helping people find their way around and learn how to use things.  In some ways, it's not all that different from being a teaching character in UL.  I've spent most of my life a thousand miles from real beaches, but I'm moving to the west coast this summer, so I plan to get used to taking long walks on beaches just as soon as I can.

That really is my real name - I didn't think it through when I named my character.  And no, I'm not related at all to Lyra-Martin.
